Becca Africa | All Africa Music Awards AFRIMA


Becca is a Ghanaian Singer, Humanitarian, and Entrepreneur, born as Rebecca Akosua Acheampomaa Acheampong in August 15, 1984.

Her debut album, Sugar, released in 2007, contains 12 songs and was recorded in English and Twi. Sugar was launched in South Africa alongside Hugh Masekela’s Live at the Market Theatre album.

Becca Africa | All Africa Music Awards AFRIMABecca’s second album, Time 4 Me, was released in 2013. The album consists of 20 songs, including 4 bonus tracks. It features guest appearances from 2face Idibia, M.I, King Ayisoba & Trigmatic, Jay and Storm Akwaboah.

Becca, who seamlessly plays the guitar, has since released several other singles and had collaboration with great music acts across Africa. Her style of music and dressing is influenced by her culture and upbringing as an African.

She has a rescue organization which is aimed at raising funds to help promote the awareness of children affected by HIV/AIDS as well as imprisoned children in Ghana, and hopes to go beyond Africa and around the world.

Becca has won and been nominated for several awards, such as; Ghana Music Award, KORA Awards, National Youth Achievers Awards, and All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA).

The celebrated Africa songbird revealed the entrepreneurship side of her, with the opening of a state of the art beauty company – Kora Spa at Accra, Ghana, in May 2018.
