Fally Ipupa, one of the most popular artiste to come from Central Africa, sprang his musical career across the continent while winning the hearts of his French-speaking audience especially in Europe and North America. His music is a mixture of the local Soukous Ndombolo music with Pop and R&B, creating a sweet rhythmic rendition.

The foremost singer/songwriter, guitarist and dancer is from the Republic of Congo. He started off as a member of the musical band Quartier Latin International, founded by a leading Congolese musician Koffi Olomide until he released his 1st solo album in 2006. This first album sold over 100,000 copies, a notable achievement for a young artiste earning him a gold record.

Fally has been able to connect with the French-speaking audience globally, he has had several concerts, tours, and music features around the globe. His collaboration with the American artiste, a former G-unit member, Olivia on a single from his second album, upsurge his popularity across the continent. He is one of the few artist from central Africa who has successfully pitched his music at the international scene.

The French-speaking super star has over 20 awards and recognition both locally and internationally amongst which includes, MTV Europe, MTV Africa, Kora Awards, BET Awards, Soundcity Awards, Black Music Awards, and All Africa Music Awards, AFRIMA for Best Male Artist in Central Africa for his song titled ‘Original’ in 2014.

The song ‘Original’ was released as a single track in 2014, reached the milestone of 1 million YouTube views in three months. Fally also has huge collaborations with some prominent African artiste like, Dj Arafat, 2Baba, Wizkid, Salif Keita and Youssou Ndour.
